_Crystal attended
Healing Hands Institute of Massage Therapy in Westwood, NJ and received her
national certification (NCBTMB) in 2005. She continued her studies of
over 1,000 hours and received her New York Medical Massage License in
February of 2006. After moving to Sedona, AZ, she obtained an Arizona
Massage License in September of 2006. When the NCBTMB introduced a new board certification in 2013, Crystal became board certified. The board certification goes beyond the basic certification to allow a much higher level of achievement and includes a thorough national background check, which some clients request.
Crystal lived in New York for 5 years and first graduated from Sunbridge College where she became a Certified Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher and studied Biodynamic Gardening. She was employed at the first Waldorf School in America in NYC during their 75th Anniversary. All of this spiritual awakening to consciousness has been crucial for her path in the Healing Arts. While in New York Crystal experienced weekly sessions of bodywork, rebirthing (breath work) and various other healing techniques which she found very healing and transformative. She has been exceptionally trained in all the different healing modalities that she experienced herself and finds her intuition continues to open as she is living what she has learned. In order to keep an Arizona License, New York License and be Nationally Board Certified by the NCBTMB, a Massage Therapist/Bodyworker must continue to take approved classes. Although Crystal enjoys learning new modalities she knows from experience what her teachers told her is true, “What really matters is who you are - being a natural healer, the same beautiful healing energy will flow from your heart no matter which modality you are doing.” Being filled with gratitude just as much as any client after a session is never taken for granted. Although there isn't always an explanation for every healing experience that happens she tells her clients, “The more you don’t know, the closer you are with God.” Being grateful opens the door to more experiences to feel grateful for. When you begin to insist on knowing how, what, why, etc. you cut off the flow of being present... and no longer experience that “eternity” is in the now. Staying in present time is truly the most important gift. Advanced reservations recommended.
